Eagan Basketball Open Gyms

As the Eagan Basketball Board, we would like to encourage participation in this year’s summer open gym.  With some adult guidance, Open Gym promotes self-management and independence when it comes to getting workouts started, selecting even teams, solving problems and getting games started efficiently.

Benefits:

  1. There will be a “workout board” accessible to you and your child.  This board will have at least 4 ball handling workouts, 4 shooting workouts, 4 perimeter workouts and 4 post workouts.  The player will be encouraged to do 1 workout from each category before getting into teams and playing 5/5.

  2. There will be 1 paid referee per court.  This person will assist in getting kids familiar with the workouts, helping to divide teams and referee the 5/5 games.

  3. There will be 1 board member supervising the space and help in any way possible.

Details:

  1. Cost is $55

  2. There will be 2 courts going simultaneously.  The Girls will be on the Center Court and the boys will be on the North Court.
