Join EBA in the Eagan FunFest Parade
Be Part of the FunFest Parade with Eagan Youth Basketball
Join the Eagan Basketball Association in the Eagan FunFest parade, held annually on July 4th. Below is the sign up form for 2023. Eagan basketball players going into grades K-5 are allowed to be in the FunFest with an adult. Eagan players in grades 6-8 can join us in the parade without an adult. LIMITED TO THE FIRST 50 PLAYERS WHO SIGN UP BELOW! SIGN UP TODAY!
Players and adults in the parade must:
- Sign up at this link (CLICK HERE) (by signing up, you agree to the liability waiver below);
- Bring a bag of candy to hand out to parade goers;
- Bring a large water bottle to stay hydrated;
- Wear Eagan Basketball gear;
- Bring a basketball to show off your dribbling skills on the parade route;
- Meet at the Staging Area on July 4th at 8:30 am -- the Blue Cross/Blue Shield building off Yankee Doodle just east of highway 13.
PARTICIPANT WAIVER
WAIVER OF LIABILITY: I, THE PARENT/GUARDIAN of the participant, a minor, agree that I and the participant will abide by the rules of EAA and its affiliated organizations. I understand and agree that my participant’s participation is entirely voluntary. Recognizing the possibility of physical injury associated with sports and this event, and in consideration for EAA accepting the participant for this event, I hereby waive all liability and release and hold harmless EAA and its affiliated organizations, their employees, volunteers and agents, including the owners of fields and facilities utilized for the Programs and including Independent School District No. 196 (ISD 196) and the City of Eagan (the City), against any claim by or on behalf of the registrant as a result of the participant’s participation in this event, use of equipment provided by the program, and/or being transported to or from the same, which transportation I hereby authorize. This waiver and release applies to all claims, including claims due to injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, even if caused by the ordinary negligence of employees, volunteers or agents of EAA, affiliated organizations, ISD 196, the City, and the other owners of fields and facilities.
By entering my participant into this event, I hereby give my approval to my child’s participation in the event indicated above. I assume all risks and hazards connected to participation, including "transportation." I also agree to abide by all rules and regulations applicable to my child’s sports and published in the EAA Handbook. I agree to the authority of EAA to suspend or prohibit my child from participation in EAA activities for language or conduct that is deemed improper, unsafe or unsuitable.
